As part of the most significant investment in Hungarian motorsport history, the Hungaroring - the circuit that has hosted the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix since 1986 - is undergoing a comprehensive redevelopment of its infrastructure and facilities. Contributing to this landmark project, Relacart equipment supplied through our Hungarian partner now provides professional wireless microphone systems, Dante IP endpoints and audio infrastructure for the event spaces across the venue near Budapest.

During the upgrade, establishing seamless wireless audio coverage and flexible network-based audio connectivity was essential for press conferences, VIP events and operational communications. To meet these high technical standards, system integrator Visual Europe Group, serving as a subcontractor to the main contractor Bayer Construct Zrt, selected professional wireless technology, active Dante speakers and microphone solutions from Relacart, an industry-recognized leader in wireless audio systems.

The wireless microphone layer of the project is built on nine Relacart UR-2Q four-channel true diversity receivers. The UR-2Q offers Dante IP audio networking and a switching bandwidth of 130 MHz (depending on the region), giving the venue ample frequency space and direct integration into the new networked audio infrastructure.

For the speaking positions, the deployment includes eighteen UH-2 handheld transmitter microphones with interchangeable capsules and eighteen UT-2 bodypack transmitters, both operating over a 134 MHz bandwidth. Together with twenty UD-223 desk bases paired with GF-901 gooseneck microphones - wireless gooseneck conference units on the same 134 MHz bandwidth - they cover every press conference, panel and presentation format used at the circuit.

Three HM-600S omnidirectional condenser headset microphones in a beige finish serve presenters who need their hands free, while four desktop positions are built on TDN1 microphone bases with Dante network output and RJ45 connection, paired with ES-910 gooseneck microphones - bringing local voices straight onto the venue's Dante network.

Robust RF coverage across the redeveloped buildings is provided by twenty-two R-32AU wideband active UHF directional antennas with built-in amplifiers, and sound reinforcement is handled by eight RDA-20 active Dante-enabled loudspeakers powered over PoE/PoE+ - a clean, cable-efficient way to extend networked audio to every event space.

With the deployment of these advanced Relacart wireless systems and Dante audio endpoints, the Mogyorod circuit ensures crystal-clear speech intelligibility, low-latency IP audio routing and robust RF stability - the strict standards required by Formula 1 and other major international events.
"We are proud to support the renewal of Hungary's premier race circuit with Relacart's cutting-edge wireless microphone technology and Dante audio endpoints. The combination of high RF reliability and seamless IP networking ensures flawless audio performance across the event spaces," Relacart's Hungarian partner commented.

From grand prix weekends to year-round conferences and corporate events, the renewed Hungaroring now runs on a flexible, network-first audio backbone. Backed by 32 years of wireless audio expertise since Relacart's founding in 1994, the project shows once again how Relacart systems meet the demands of world-class sporting venues.
