A multi-purpose performance center of a military unit in Sichuan Province planned to install a batch of new professional wireless audio systems for all kinds of live performances. The client set three requirements: the system had to integrate smoothly with professional show AV equipment; the sound had to stay clear and stable, free of noise and drop-outs even in a demanding RF environment; and installation and tuning had to be fast and simple.

After on-site comparison, the client chose seven Relacart UR-260D UHF dual-channel diversity wireless performance microphone systems, together with three R-14D antenna distribution systems paired with R-32AU directional antennas. The combination provides a stable audio backbone and clear voice reproduction for every performance.

The UR-260D has a 134 MHz transmitter bandwidth covering four bands (A/B/C/D) with ten frequency groups per channel, and CPU-controlled intelligent antenna diversity. Its built-in digital MagicEQ processor offers nine tone modes - seven presets covering the voicing of leading international brands plus two user-defined modes - while the TCP/IP port enables remote monitoring, diagnosis and firmware upgrade from a computer. An [FBK] anti-feedback function, GND/LIFT switch and DSP volume control complete the package.

The matched UH-222 wireless handheld microphone works in the wide 522-936 MHz band with PLL frequency synthesis, a metal body, a high-contrast OLED display and modular microphone capsules, delivering about 11 hours of operation on two AA batteries.

The R-14D is a broadband dual-channel 1-in-4 antenna distribution system with low intermodulation distortion. One pair of antennas can serve two to four wireless receivers, which simplifies antenna installation and improves overall system efficiency. Its low-noise circuit design keeps intermodulation interference under control when many channels work at the same time.

The R-32AU directional antennas amplify the received signal and can be fixed on microphone stands, hung from the ceiling or wall-mounted with the integrated rotating bracket, ensuring reliable reception across the whole venue.
Since the systems went live, they have delivered clear, stable sound for rehearsals and performances alike, and the solution has been highly recognized by the client.
