The Philippine National Police (PNP) is the national law-enforcement force of the Philippines, and its Drug Enforcement Group (DEG) is the unit dedicated to anti-drug operations. The DEG briefing room hosts case analysis, regular meetings, operational briefings, specialized training and assessment interviews - and the clarity and stability of its audio system directly affect whether orders are conveyed accurately and meetings run smoothly. To improve communication efficiency and daily reliability, the DEG chose a Relacart desktop wireless conference microphone system built on the UR-222D dual-channel diversity wireless receiver paired with UD-222 desk microphone bases.

No rewiring: the room is a working office with a long fixed conference table and many seats, where a wired system would mean channeling walls, heavy construction and disruption to daily work. The UD-222 is a wireless desk microphone: every seat is covered with no cabling at all, and when seats or the layout change, the microphones simply move - deployment efficiency and a tidy conference table at once.

A complex RF environment: offices of law-enforcement agencies are dense with two-way radios, wireless networks and other transmitters. The UR-222D applies CPU-based intelligent antenna diversity reception and, with 134 MHz-wide transmitters, provides 24 frequency groups and 768 selectable frequencies across four interchangeable bands - so clean channels are always available even amid dense interference, keeping every transmission stable.
Clear pickup at every seat: along a long table, distances and speaking volumes vary, while shuffling papers and air-conditioning add noise. The UD-222 has a built-in high-pass filter that cuts desk knocks and low-frequency rumble, independent gain adjustment for each position so every voice is picked up clearly and evenly, and a silent touch switch that produces no mechanical noise when a microphone is switched.

Simple to operate, ready for long sessions: the [AFS] automatic frequency scan finds clean channels by itself, and [IR] infrared synchronization locks each transmitter precisely to the receiver's working frequency with no specialist tuning. Precision low-consumption circuit design and the UD-222's two AA batteries - more than 8 hours of continuous use - keep the room working all day. The dual-channel UR-222D also keeps equipment count and system cost under control while leaving room to grow, and the system accepts wireless handheld and bodypack microphones for chairing and floor questions: fixed desktop pickup and mobile speaking in one system.

Commissioned after installation and tuning, the Relacart desktop wireless conference microphone system now provides clear, stable audio for the Drug Enforcement Group's case analysis, operational briefings, training and daily office meetings - every order conveyed, clearly.
