About the Forum
On May 19, the 2nd China-Israel Medical Technology Industry Summit Forum was held in Changzhou, China, drawing more than 200 experts, scholars, government officials and representatives of key enterprises. Besides the opening ceremony and receptions, the forum ran six signing ceremonies for innovative medical industry projects, six keynote speeches by medical experts from China and Israel, two roundtable dialogues on medical technology and industry, and roadshows and matchmaking for 17 Israeli medical innovation projects — all on the same day.

The Venue
The opening ceremony took place at the Hilton Changzhou Xincheng, located in the heart of Changzhou’s historic Wujin District next to shopping and entertainment areas. As the 50th Hilton hotel in Greater China, it offers more than 3,000 square meters of multi-purpose meeting space, including a 1,500-square-meter pillar-free ballroom, an 800-square-meter ballroom and three meeting rooms seating up to 160 people in theater style.

The Challenge
A large-scale government reception involves dining and multiple meetings where everything, from guest admission to the dining experience and the setup of each meeting room, is closely interlinked. Hosting several conferences at the same time exceeded the capacity of the hotel’s built-in audio equipment.
