Project Background

Huaxia Cultural Tourism Xi’an Resort features large-scale live-action performances, water & land stages, and multi-zone touring routes. It has an ultra-wide viewing span; buildings, mountains and water bodies create complex signal reflection zones; the park’s RF environment fluctuates drastically with passenger flow and night lighting systems. For wireless audio systems, the core of system construction lies in whether RF signals can be transmitted accurately and interference-free across all spaces.

Client Requirements

  1. Definite Signal Coverage: The park features complex terrain including open-air theaters, indoor venues, winding touring paths and water scenery zones. The client required a precisely planned RF system with predictable coverage performance.

  2. Purity for High-Density Concurrent Signals: Dense wireless devices carried by visitors and park intelligent devices create an overcrowded RF environment. The system must deliver robust anti-interference performance and high channel capacity to eliminate audio dropouts and noise caused by signal interference during performances.

  3. Industrialized System O&M: As a cultural tourism complex operating 365 days a year, system reliability and maintainability are critical. The client abandoned traditional messy "cobweb-style" wiring and single-device troubleshooting, adopting an industrialized system with clear topology, unified transmission paths and centralized equipment status monitoring.

1. Guarantee Purity of Original Source Signals

R-32AU wideband cardioid directional antennas are deployed in core performance zones. They prioritize receiving signals from target areas while effectively suppressing interference radiation from rear and lateral directions, boosting the signal-to-interference ratio at the source to deliver a clean foundation for subsequent signal distribution and transmission.

2. Matrix Distribution & Trunk Branching

In the equipment room, the R-14D antenna distribution system acts as the main RF trunk node, aggregating clean RF signals from all stage zones and distributing them to multiple receivers. Meanwhile, R-12S antenna splitters/combiners serve as branch nodes, supporting 1-to-2 splitting and 2-to-1 combining of RF signals with forward bias voltage transmission. The "single aggregation, multi-output centralized management" architecture eliminates the messy topology of independent antenna wiring for each receiver, delivering neat unified wiring and drastically reducing intermodulation and noise introduction points.

3. Long-Distance Transmission Assurance

To address the park’s wide span and remote antenna points, a combination of R-20A active RF amplifiers and R-20P coaxial power injectors is deployed on critical links. The amplifier compensates signal attenuation over long coaxial cables, while the power injector supplies stable power to remote active antennas via the same cable run. This combination maintains consistent signal strength across the entire link from the equipment room to far-end antennas, eliminating weak-signal dead zones.

4. Visual Spectrum Management

With the U.Discover portable handheld spectrum analyzer, operation staff can scan frequency occupancy from 240MHz to 960MHz on-site at any time. Interference peaks, spurious signals and elevated noise floors are visually displayed on a high-definition screen. System commissioning and regular inspections no longer rely on subjective auditory judgment, but on storable, traceable spectrum data, realizing the transformation from "experience-based management" to "visualized management".
