Microphone manufacturer Relacart has completed the development of its digital wireless microphones and officially launched three series of digital wireless microphone products, marking a key breakthrough in digital RF transmission technology.
Relacart began planning its digital microphone product line more than a decade ago. The three digital series introduced this year are the EZD.Mi, UR-D and BG-24 series.
The EZD.Mi series comprises three models — the single-channel EZD.Mi1, the dual-channel EZD.Mi2 and the four-channel EZD.Mi4. Designed for small and mid-sized applications, the series addresses the signal instability common in low-cost wireless microphones, allowing customers to obtain equipment with dependable stability on a modest budget.

The UR-D series is the general-purpose line, offering the single-channel UR-D1 and the dual-channel UR-D2 for large-scale events, professional stage performances and broadcast applications. Both models support the internationally adopted AES-256 encryption as well as China's SM4.0 cryptographic standard, protecting privacy in confidential meetings and similar settings.

The BG-24 series, aimed primarily at overseas markets, operates in the globally license-free 2.4 GHz band and features AES-256 encryption. In regions with open terrain and a clear separation between Wi-Fi and wireless microphone spectrum, it delivers a better user experience, covering small and mid-sized performances, business meeting venues, conference rooms, schools and home entertainment.

Relacart started its digital transformation early, accumulating more than a decade of technical experience in RF bandwidth, algorithms and circuit architecture. Its receivers adopted digital interfaces, including Dante, as early as around 2016. Since then, audio companding, gain control and display functions have all been handled by digital processing, with the digital signal finally modulated onto radio waves for transmission — achieving a fully digital microphone chain from end to end.
“Conventional analog wireless microphones are easily affected by interference from the operating environment or by intermodulation generated within the equipment itself. With radio spectrum resources becoming increasingly congested, digital wireless microphones are the way forward,” said Wu Tingfei, wireless audio engineer at Relacart. “In addition, because our products support both AES-256 and SM4.0 encryption, they can meet the requirements of highly confidential applications.”
He also stressed the emphasis Relacart places on stability in R&D: “Our first-priority principle in developing wireless microphones is that stability always comes first. Once dropouts or interference occur, even the best sound quality means nothing. With stability fully optimized, we have dedicated teams for acoustics, microphone capsules and other disciplines, focusing on the modules related to sound quality. In fact, thanks to a lower noise floor and higher sound reproduction accuracy, digital microphones already deliver a clearly audible improvement in sound quality over analog products.”
Relacart is progressively completing the digital upgrade of its wireless microphone products, including the flagship HR series. In today's digital wireless microphone market, still dominated by international brands, Relacart plans to offer customers more choices through cost-effective products and solid engineering.
